In a medium Ph environment, how does the structure of an amino acid differ from the normal structure?

It exists as a dipolar, or Zwitterion amino acid. This means it has behavior intermediate of the high pH and low pH environment. The Zwitterion has both a O- where the hydroxyl group should be an an R-NH3+ where the R-NH2 should be.
