what is a standing wave? a standing wave is an equally repeating system of wave pulses whose nodes do not move and the antinodes have no horizontal movement
what are nodes? points on the medium that never move from the equilibrium line
what are antinodes? point on the medium that achieves maximum displacement
what is reflected waves? waves that change direction when they bounce off a barrier
where does constructive interference occur? it occurs at the anti nodes of a wave
where does deconstructive interference occur? it occurs at the nodes of a wave
what is harmonics? it is the frequency and standing wave pairs are known as what
where is the maximum amplitude of standing waves? at antinode
