what is Wave-Particle Duality? Although visible light and x-rays seem to behave differently, both of them have the behavior of waves and particles.
what is the DeBroglie Equation? Wavelength = h / mv
How can light behave as a wave? through the diffraction of light. As light passes through a narrow slit, it splits and spreads out similar to how waves spreads after passing through a gap
How can the diffraction of light be increased? it can be increased by narrowing the gap or having a longer wavelength
what is the de Broglie wavelength? This the wavelength of matter with a dual wave-particle nature
How can electrons behave as a particle? Electrons in a beam can be deflected by a magnetic field.
