What is King Phillip's War? King philip's war was a bloody conflict between the Algonquian Indians and the English settlers in the New England colonies.
When was the King Philip war fought? June 1675 to August 1676. The colonists won the war
Where did the king's Philip war take place? It occurred in the New England colonies of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine
What were some of the causes that resulted in the King Philips war? The bonds build between the colonist were broken, trade declined between, livestock trampled over indian cornfields etc
Why did the Native Americans lose? Because their leader was killed, they were outnumbered by the colonists, the colonists had better weapons, and the native americans died of starvation because the never had time to plant crops because they were constantly at war.
What is a tomahawk? It is a small native American weapon that looks like an axe
