It was first published on April 18, 1775 in the issue of "The Atlantic Monthly". It was later re-titled "The Landlord's Tale"
He took part in the Boston Tea Party. He also served as a messenger during the revolutionary War. He warned colonist that the British were on their way to Lexington
He wanted to warn people of Middlesex County that the British were coming so they could prepare to defend their county
One if by land and two if by sea using lanthers
One by land means the British are coming by land and two means they are traveling in boats
The redcoats are coming.
